Above and Beyond Workplace Coaches: Practical, Person‑Centred Support for Neurodivergent Professionals

At Above and Beyond Workplace Coaches, our mission is simple: to ensure that neurodivergent adults are not just included in the workplace, but genuinely supported to thrive.

We specialise in coaching and practical workplace solutions for autistic and ADHD professionals, as well as individuals with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties. Our approach is grounded in lived experience, specialist training, and a deep commitment to creating environments where people feel understood, valued, and equipped for success. We work with employees, employers, and organisations across the UK and worldwide to bridge the gap between intention and meaningful inclusion.

Many workplaces want to support neurodivergent staff but are unsure where to begin. That’s where we come in. Through structured coaching and tailored strategies, we help individuals build confidence, develop sustainable working practices, and navigate challenges such as communication differences, executive functioning demands, sensory needs, and workplace expectations. Our 24‑week Workplace Coaching Programme provides consistent, structured support that enables long‑term change, and appointments are available immediately so individuals can access help when they need it most.

Our coaching is strengths‑based and highly personalised. Every client brings their own experiences, talents, and pressures, so we take time to understand what truly works for them. Sessions might explore planning and prioritisation, emotional regulation, communication strategies, or self‑advocacy skills. For others, support may focus on managing overwhelm, building routines, or developing tools to reduce cognitive load. Whatever the focus, our goal is always the same: to empower clients with practical, realistic strategies they can use straight away.

A key part of our work involves identifying and implementing reasonable adjustments that reduce stress, prevent burnout, and support wellbeing. These adjustments often lead to measurable improvements, including reduced sickness absence, increased productivity, and in many cases, the overturning of inappropriate or unfair performance improvement plans. When individuals are properly supported, their strengths can finally be seen!

Alongside one‑to‑one coaching, we also support employers to build more inclusive cultures. This includes training for managers, workplace assessments, and the development of clear, accessible resources that help teams understand neurodiversity in a positive and practical way. Many organisations are surprised by how small adjustments—such as clearer communication, predictable workflows, or sensory‑friendly environments—can make a profound difference to staff wellbeing and performance.

Above and Beyond Workplace Coaches was founded on the belief that neurodivergent people deserve workplaces where they can excel, not just cope. Whether we’re supporting a young professional entering their first role, an experienced employee navigating change, or an organisation striving to do better, our approach remains rooted in compassion, clarity, and practical action.

We accept both Access to Work funding and private funding, offering flexible and accessible payment options to ensure support is available to those who need it.
